A fusion of flavors in Pamplona's historical center

Los Burgos de Iruña

A little bit of history...

The city of Pamplona was originally made up of three independent burroughs until 1423: Navarreria, San Cernin and San Nicolas.

It was then, when King Carlos III, tired of the wars between the burroughs, signed the Treaty of the Union, the founding act for the present day city of Pamplona uniting the three burroughs into one.

Here, traditional foods (txistorra sausage, Basque cod stew, bull stew...) mix with new tastes and flavors (warm salads, specialty sandwiches ...) to enjoy with friends, family or while visiting on holiday

A friendly atmosphere, located in the heart of Pamplona's historical center" Casco Viejo" in Navarreria, where very few resist enjoying our hot sandwiches, traditional dishes, salads, open-faced sandwiches or full dinner platters.

We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner which can be perfect forbirthday parties, school or work get togethers, meetings with friends or for those "Rojillos" who don't want to miss a match of our local  football team: Osasuna.

We also never miss San Fermines, a special and unmatched festival for people from Pamplona and all of Navarra. Johnan American living in Navarra since 1989, opens the doors of his tavern, together with his Navarran wife Maite and they welcome you to Los Burgos de Iruña.
